Growing evidence suggests that during the ancient Noachian time period, the outside environment of Mars had liquid water and may have been usable for microorganisms, but conditions don’t necessarily mean life. Mars had water in the ancient past.
Mars is a dusty, cold, desert world with a very thin atmosphere. Mars may look warm but it is very cold. Mars is called the red planet because of all the iron in the soil.
There is strong evidence Mars was wetter and warmer, with a thicker atmosphere. Billions of years ago.
Mars is also a planet with seasons, cold ice caps, canyons, lost volcanoes, and proof that it was even more active in the past. Mars has MASSIVE dust storms which last for months and cover the entire planet.
Mars is the next planet beyond Earth and is the 4th planet from the sun. It is more than 142 million miles from the sun.
Mars has two moons,and their names are Phobos and Deimos. Phobos has a diameter of 14 miles (22 kilometers) Deimos has a diameter of 7.5 miles (12 kilometers) .
